I was very excited to have an one-on-one lesson with Tim after reading about his experience. I learned so much in just 2 hours with him. I was most interested in edible and medicinal plants but if I thought of something else, Tim was open to any subject matter. The benefit of having a one-on-one lesson is being able to learn exactly what interests you. Tim has a lot of knowledge and is friendly and easy going. I highly recommend him and look forward to learning more from him in the future!

I've learned a lot from Tim. He knows more about edible plants than anyone that I have ever met. I also love his common sense approach that differs greatly from your typical survivor guide instructor and prepping websites. "Eating tree bark is for beavers!" LOL. Amen!
Don't settle for a class full of other people. Get one on one instruction from someone that doesn't want us chewing on wood!

Definitely worthy of 5 stars. I would give 10 stars if I could. I love Tim's commonsense approach. He's very different from any other survival instructor. He has hands on, real life knowledge instead of just book learning like most of the other instructors out there!

I learned a lot and look forward to another lesson. East Tennessee Survival instructor was able to travel to our state and our town! Tim's a very good listener. That's hard to find these days! He was able to answer our questions, to the point, instead of rambling on forever non-stop. Most people these days like to hear themselves talk too much. Not Tim. He's to the point. He doesn't waste time.

Tim should be on "Naked & Afraid", as he would definitely survive.
He was able to clear up some misconceptions that I had previously from reading survival books, and also he corrected a false teaching that I had learned from another "so called" survival instructor. Thank God that I found Tim, before I had made a huge mistake in the future when it really counts!
